Unemployment: Joblessness in America
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the federal unemployment rate, is at 9.7% meaning 1in every 10 Americans are out of work. Many more Americans are employed, but suffering the greatest financial hardship of their working lives; yet during this time of economic hardship, the senate is now debating on whether, or not to mandate these people to purchase health care coverage.
While, Many Americans are unable to pay their mortgage, and are struggling to meet the financial obligations of day-to-day life: Capitol Hill is talking about dramatically expanding the role of government in health care: to the tune of $1 trillion dollars." Its insanity to force the American people to buy anything at this time."Talk about going at a problem "bass-ackwards" it seems we'd want to employ these people, before we start telling them where they must spend, the money they do have.
Many Americans have dropped their employer provided health care plans, in favor of a, larger "net" weekly income; while, others have chosen not to participate, due to their young age, good health, lack of dependents, etc. If you consider these factors, the "30 million uninsured Americans" figure coming out of the White House, would be dramatically reduced.
However, we know there are approx. 14.8 million Americans out of work; whose soul provider is now their fellow tax payer; then if you factor in the amount of working Americans receiving some form of government subsidy, such as welfare, food stamps, WIC and so-on that number more than doubles.
"That figure in and of itself should make it blatantly obvious, where our efforts should be focused."
Ironically, it's the heavy taxation, over-regulation, and uncertainty of, what burdens will be placed on "small business" under this new massive entitlement program; that has many employers waiting for the dust to settle, before considering any employment possibilities. If these people in Washington D.C. Were concerned about creating jobs or improving our economic state, they would begin by reducing the burden on small business owners, and provide incentives for employment.
The fact is, this old government mind-set of solving problems by throwing money at them, just doesn't work; especially when the money their throwing belongs to the American people; who are over-taxed, and under-employed. These massive entitlement undertakings by our own government can only lead in one direction; that's in the direction of higher taxes, lower economic freedom, a reduction in quality of health care service, and debt that will be saddled to the backs of our children, and grand children.
Another solution must be found. I propose the next health care summit we sponsor, we invite those who provide health care, and the insurance companies responsible for paying those providers; maybe then we'll find a solution that benefits the American population as a whole. Likewise, when we have a summit on joblessness, we should invite those responsible for employing the American people; we should ask what dynamics prevent them from seeking employees, and what obstacles the government present to their prosperity.

I am Sean James of ROI-Exchange Corporation and I am passionate about our solution to this problem.
Let us begin by being clear about the cause of job loss in the United States… Many products are unreasonably imported, as if Americans don’t have the capability and know how to cost effectively manufacture or assemble the products imported in abundance.
Under these circumstances, the consumption of unfairly imported products indicates Americans rather provide, feed and support people of nations many miles away instead of taking care of ourselves and supporting the wonderful people in our community and country.
If we continue letting them do this, they will sort of imprison us as consumers and continue to be a contributing factor to the seizure of possessions should we not have the ability to earn an honest wage to enjoy the American dream.
If we really want to change things, there are better ways of doing it than buying products from companies that don’t care if you, your family, friends and community will eat tomorrow.
For America to gain prosperity, ROI-Exchange will arrange for local assembly and or manufacture of frequently and abundantly imported products. The results will empower Americans to unite in other places within the United States instead of just the unemployment lines.
