Invincible
Like a rock pounded on the winter ground, my heart beats;
I'm invincible, no longer do I weep.
Your words can't penetrate the armor, forged by your words.
Hurt, pain, betrayal, rejection;
my heart numb, my soul has no reflection.
No reflection of the man I used to be;
only solitude and calm reside inside of me.
The futile attempt this life has made;
to destroy a man who's heart decayed,
the vision of me the world now sees, they find reprehensible;
a man standing in a storm impenetrable, I am invincible.
