Revived: The Re-emergence of the Tea-Party

Thank You, Home-front Soldiers!!!
I know many Americans feel disheartened, and even betrayed by recent events in Washington; the philosophy of the current administration seems to run in coarse opposition, to what many believe to be the foundational structure of this great nation.
Many Americans having an honest difference in opinion, in what direction this country should take moving forward, decided to voice their concerns, and called for this administration to change course.
With many peaceful protests, groups of Americans all over this nation began to state in 'no-uncertain' terms, their discontent with the actions of the White House, and congress.
Soon this mass of disenfranchised patriots, took on the title of "tea party" referencing, the events of December 16,1773 when in defiance of the taxation, and imperialistic acts of Britain, a group of colonists destroyed the tea aboard a British ship. An act that eventually led to the Revolutionary war, and the end of America's bondage to an oppressive empire.
The events of that day are considered by many to be an act of great patriotism; that free spirit and sense of self sovereignty is what transformed this country, from a British colony into the most powerful nation on earth. Now, we are witnessing a rebirth of that great " American" spirit, and for many of the same reasons; over-taxation, and an increasing invasion into the privacy and liberties, of freedom loving Americans.
The demonizing, and marginalizing of this very --American-- movement by this administration, and most in the mainstream media, has so polarized this nation, it leaves it's citizens with little choice but to choose a side.
What is lost on the opponents of these brave Americans, is their great sense of history, and their fundamental understanding of the founders intent for this nation, and it's people. I, like so many others look upon the path this administration is carving into our future, and recognize an approaching parallel of our imperialistic past.
The political storm that has fell upon this nation's Capitol, has nothing to do with health care, or student loans; has nothing to do with race, or hatred. What we are witnessing is the love, the sons and daughters of liberty have for their country, and their freedoms.
So, this administration has picked a fight, but not with a people or a class; the fight it's chosen is against a spirit; a spirit of freedom and liberty, the same spirit that led those colonist upon that ship over 200 years ago; a spirit that stands undefeated in the pages of history; a spirit that I can only hope swells in the hearts of my posterity.

Yes, it will be the "spirit" of the patriots of this nation that will rise together and stand shoulder to shoulder to let this administration know that we are strong, we are unified and we are resilient and we will not back down! Great testament to the patriots of days past!

People like you and I built this country. They struggled, they fought, they sacrificed so that we could have the Freedoms that we have today. Now it's our turn to protect this great country from the very things they fought against. We owe it to out Founding Fathers as well as to all of our future generations. If we do nothing, then nothing is what they will have.
