Letters from Home

Democrat lawmakers are willing to gamble on American's propensity to shut-up and follow suit; believing that grassroots movements such as the Tea-Party, are an exercise in frivolity that cannot be sustained in the months leading up to November.

You'll 'learn' to like it, is the message Americans are receiving from majority leaders in Washington; senior adviser to President Obama, David Axelrod predicted: "once people get their benefits, they won't want to give them up;" further demonstrating their superior view of themselves over the very people, by which they are employed.

The democrat leadership's inability to understand, the anger Americans are feeling over the passage of 'health care reform' amazes me; the very fact they believe this has anything to do with health care, or any other hand-out they have devised, offends me.

The phenomenal speed of government growth, the ever-extending reach of a centralized bureaucracy, and an ever-increasing invasion into our lives and livelihood; these are the things that anger us Mr. Obama, our struggle to stay afloat while you thrust your idea of charity upon us, the fact that our employment opportunities and economic prosperity are dwindling into oblivion, while the bureaucrats in Washington are writing bills, they, themselves are not required to abide by; that's why we're angry Mr. Obama, and if you're foolish enough to believe this anger will subside because you filled the hands of a small percentage of Americans while laying the tax burden on the hard working Sons and Daughters of this land; then you, Mr. President have another think coming.

So, Mr. President you and the whole executive branch can go on MSNBC, and try to marginalize us by blaming, Limbaugh and Beck, but the fact is my friend, you have found yourself in a lion's den, you have re-awakened the spirit of a people that has laid dormant for over a century.

Now, Mr. Obama we implore you; --change course-- we shall not stand silent as we watch liberty slip from the hands of our children. --Change course-- Mr. President, and reach for the wisdom written in the documents of our founding. We want to support our leadership, but on our current path, we cannot.

The tone of this article truly transcends the sentiments of concerned citizens who believe freedom and liberty are being stripped away by a administration that values power over prosperity.

Well said, they need to listen and listen good! We the People are not going to back down, not this time. No longer will we accept them on their terms, they are to serve our will as they represent us, if not..come this November a resounding message will be heralded throughout the halls of the House and the Congress and change of address forms will be left at the door of all those who stand in defiance of ..."WE THE PEOPLE"
