A Rebirth of America

In this present hour, America is struggling to find her identity; the values woven into her foundation are all but gone, and cry from the corridors of history as a desperate call to salvation.

-America- the beautiful landscape of freedom, birthplace of the liberty's spirit; where have you gone? You have changed course, but why? Your path was that of righteousness, honor and faith, but now you have let the vise of power corrupt you; you have fallen prey to the impurity of the world in which you fled.

The cause of freedom depends on you America; why have you turned away from the wisdom of your creator, and those he appointed to frame you? Why have you surrendered yourself to a lesser cause?

Can you feel the blood of your forefathers as it courses through your veins? Do you remember the legacy of the fallen, that fought and died for your cause, America?

Your light could once be seen from every dark corner of the earth, but now that light flickers, America; you have lost your way, the faith that once fueled your light is dying, and cannot escape the glare of a now covetous people.

Have you forgotten, America, from whence your strength was derived? Have you lost your humility; do you not remember, the heavens smiled upon you America?

Upon your face in prayer you shall find the resolution that escapes you; your foundations are crumbling America; in futility you attempt your own salvation.

Your people are starving because their faith has been turned upon a system that only corrupts their soul; offering them life to the body, in exchange, for death to the spirit.

Your children cry for the leadership that burns inside the the belly of a righteous man; yet, you cast your hope upon men with hollow eyes and an empty soul. Pray America, pray that God will once again shower you with his grace, and cast the wisdom of your founders upon you. Pray America, pray because it's your only hope; because your roots have become shallow. Pray America, pray because without his light you shall only wander in darkness. Pray America, pray and I shall pray with you.

Amen, pray for prayer is the most powerful weapon to protect us from not only ourselves but of evil and every element of what evil represents. I ask America, the same questions....why?

As always Lannis, you have a way of putting things in correct perspective.
We are a fallen people without prayer and God in our lives. Your words speak for me and others who's hearts are breaking to witnessing the crucifixion of our liberty and freedom so many have sacrificed and died for.
